ABSTRACT
A method for using the popular math package MATLAB and simulink to simulate behavior of distributed feedback quantum- well semiconductor laser diodes rate equation that describe them is presented. large-signal model threshold determination operating point selection discussed. Small-signal properties interest can be investigated a state-space description linearized version equations, based on their Jacobian.
