ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to develop a physical literacy scale for secondary school students. 650 students from 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades participated in the research. draft form was prepared by reviewing literature taking expert opinions. Interviews were conducted with 40 test comprehensibility items (the wording 5 revised). As result pilot reliability analysis Bartlett's sphericity test, it accepted that correlation between variables sufficient, consisted questions unique homogeneous structure. Then, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin, Bartlett Cronbach Alpha values checked, they determined be suitable sufficient EFA. EFA, 20 collected 4 factors obtained. variance explained these 58.442%. CFA SPSS AMOS 24 programme, 3 did not meet model fit index criteria removed. It standardized item loadings 17 met conditions ranged 0.654-0.895, R2 0.43-0.80 standard errors 0.045-0.102. Regarding reliability, AVE, CR, internal consistency coefficients examined, specified criteria. final version consists four sub-dimensions ("Motivation", "Knowledge Understanding", "Confidence" "Physical Competence"). In conclusion, developed valid reliable measurement tool assessing students' perceptions literacy.
