This article describes four fluorescent membrane tension probes that have been designed, synthesized, evaluated, commercialized and applied to current biology challenges in the context of NCCR Chemical Biology. Their names are Flipper-TR®, ER Lyso Mito Flipper-TR®. They available from Spirochrome.
