ABSTRACT
Breast cancer is the most common malignancy in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and an increasing burden terms incidence, morbidity mortality. It accounts for about 28.7% all new cancers women. In 2015, registry shows that breast was graded first among women it 16.7% reported nationals. This study designed to assess screening knowledge practices Asir region, Arabia.A cross-sectional recruiting 1,021 female participants performed. The variables included knowledge, socio-demographic features, self-examination practice. Descriptive statistics used compare analyze collected data while chi-square test check statistical significance selected variables. married from region were this study.Our findings suggested had a satisfactory level mammograms at rate > 90% 44.76% respectively. Over good self-exam however, only 6.37% always performed self-examination. Similarly, nearly 40% mammograms, 40.5% unaware.
