ABSTRACT
Facial nerve injury often results in facial paralysis, which seriously affects the patients both aesthetically and functionally. reinnervation methods, including direct anastomosis, graft, transposition, cross-facial combined surgeries, have recently become a hot topic with many new procedures being explored. This study summarizes relevant literatures discusses scope of application, advantages, disadvantages different methods. The treatment options or surgeries for should be individualized specific to achieve best reanimation outcome good static symmetry, tone, spontaneous, natural, symmetrical, strong movements.
