ABSTRACT
Objective: To explore the application and effectiveness of Modified Early Warning Score (MEWS) in emergency triage evaluate its impact on efficiency accuracy. Methods: A total 6,000 patients who visited department between February 2023 July 2024 were selected randomly divided into observation group control group, with 3,000 each group. The used MEWS for triage, while adopted traditional experience-based method. time accuracy recorded compared two groups. Results: was significantly shorter than that (0.84 ± 0.21 min vs. 1.42 0.35 min, t = 6.54, P < 0.01). 98.67% (2,960/3,000), higher group’s 93.33% (2,800/3,000, χ² 5.95, 0.05). Conclusion: improves providing an effective tool optimizing resource allocation, reducing patient wait times, ensuring safety. It has high clinical value. Further research is needed to validate multi-center large-sample studies integration intelligent technologies.
