ABSTRACT
In October 2011, two primary cases of hepatitis A virus (HAV) infection with identical HAV genotype IB strains to those seen in other outbreaks associated semi-dried tomatoes were reported England. Both had consumed tomatoes. Epidemiological investigations revealed additional different sequences who also having November, five closely related identified the Netherlands. foodborne multiple-strain outbreak is suspected.
