ABSTRACT
surgery (BCS) to those having undergone modified radical mastectomy (MRM). Material and Methods: Forty-four BCS 27 MRM patients have been included in this retrospective study. All completed adjuvant chemotherapies radiation therapies. who received breast reconstruction afterwards, experienced local or distant organ relapse, over fifty years old excluded. Each patient’s quality of life has evaluated using the Short Form 36 (SF-36), 6 months after completion their treatment. Results: Between groups, no significant difference age, height, weight body mass index was observed. While group yielded better results from SF-36 subscales, i.e. physical functioning, role emotional social bodily pain, general health perceptions, only measures illustrating a were vitality mental health, comparison with (p= 0.043 p= 0.023, respectively). Conclusion: In treatment cancer, enhancing patients’ is just as essential improving survivals. Our research demonstrates higher patients, highlighting statistical subscales SF-36, compared group.
