ABSTRACT
Background: Unexpected situations can drastically change the daily life of a university. With health crisis in 2020, it is important to understand what measures be taken future minimize impact on education students. Aims: To explore, analyze, and describe adaptive strategies university community response challenges posed by COVID-19 pandemic. Method: An exploratory, descriptive study using qualitative approach was conducted. Results: 'Institutional management strategies' had positive impact, although different ways. For students, most were mitigating restrictions face-to-face teaching access clinical placements hospital, rapidly implementing safety measures, ensuring academic continuity despite disruption caused public crisis. Pedagogical strategies, including reorganization programs. Coping mechanisms use digital tools emerged as essential components overcoming faced students staff. staff groups, adaptability, resilience, working focused transition remote well received.
