ABSTRACT
To investigate the correlation between general self-efficacy and online learning readiness among Pakistani undergraduate dental students.Cross-sectional study. Place Duration of Study: Riphah International University, Islamabad, September 2020 March 2021.Using cluster sampling, three colleges Islamabad Rawalpindi were selected. Electronic questionnaires sent to 750 students. The questionnaire was comprised two instruments, General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES), Online Learning Readiness (OLRS). GSES had 10-items with response measurement on four-point Likert scale, while OLRS 18 items in five different domains measured by five-point scale. Data analysed using SPSS-23. Correlation dependent variables calculated linear regression analysis.The rate 59.3% a predominant from female students (82.2%) compared male (17.8%). majority responses recorded third year (27.9%). four students' scores for GSE, computer internet self-efficacy, self-directed differed significantly other overall mean GSE score 29.37+4.57. Regression indicated low degree r2 values ranging 0.12 0.32.A weak moderate found dimensions as depicted r-values.Cross-sectional studies, Dental education, students, Dentistry, Efficacy, learning, Questionnaire.
