ABSTRACT
Breast cancer is a group of malignancies most common among women. In 2018, approximately 2.1 million women were diagnosed, with 626,679 deaths. The traditional classification these diseases based on the extent illness (in situ or invasive), affected tissue (epithelial for instance), and site occurrence (duct lobe). invasive ductal carcinoma type. molecular characteristics divides breast into at least five groups: Luminal A, B, negative HER-2, positive triple negative, being aggressive subtype. disadvantages presented by treatments have stimulated search new therapeutic alternatives in order to decrease toxic adverse systemic effects besides increasing effectiveness tumor treatment. So, combined therapies using nanostructures, sizes, such as magnetic nanoparticles (NPMs) hyperthermia PLGA-Selol nanocapsules chemotherapy associated not supplementation pequí oil, may represent an innovative promising tool therapy. Objective: This study aims evaluate NPMs Selol treatment tumors implanted elderly Swiss female mice. Material methods: was evaluated clinical, hematological, biochemical, genotoxic, histopathological parameters. period 7 14 days. Results: prevented metastases lymph nodes, liver, lungs, case complete remission observed. next step if oil can enhance efficacy treatments. Conclusion: results already showed potential use future clinical trials patients cancer.
