ABSTRACT
SARS-CoV-2 is a new pandemic infection that affects at the beginning upper respiratory system, and, successively, all organisms, due to cytokine storm, with serious consequences can reach death. The aim of this work was observation nasal mucosa enrolled 60 patients, resulting negative for two weeks molecular swab SARS-CoV-2, versus control group. Rhino-fibroscopy and cytology were performed both investigated groups. samples showed occurrence plasmablastic lymphocytes Downey II type. former type prevalent against second one, probably because an immunological “scar”. rhino-fibroscopy “pseudo ischemia submucosa” pre pericranial levels, not occurred in atypical smear analog observed blood peripheral smear, caused by mechanisms local immune reaction dysregulation like those other virus infections. Our findings suggest study through cytology, represent important predictive tool infection.
