ABSTRACT
Introduction: It was aimed to evaluate the efficacy of a day treatment clinic in Turkey and which has been serving for ten years children adolescents with psychiatric disorders.Methods: 262 patients who completed within were tested at intake discharge.The patients' functioning assessed using Children's Global Assesment Scale (CGAS), Clinical Impression (CGIS), state-trait anxiety inventory children, depression rating scale Coopersmith self-esteem children.Pre/post comparisons made on same variables.Results: Statistical analyses showed that, improvement maintained all measures.The high CGAS scores discharge well-being good patients.The CGIS varied from moderately disturbed (4.83±0.88) much improved (2.55±0.93)demonstrated that responses improvement.Wilcoxon T tests significantly more anxious depressive had problems self esteem.Statetrait decreased treatment. Conclusion:This study points as results ten-year experience, approach seems effective therefore be choice treating disorders.It also shows necessity combines multiple modalities like must generalize these patient population.
