ABSTRACT
Background . It is known that the protective effect of adaptation and conditioning influence weakened in animals with metabolic syndrome. Metabolic syndrome may be basis for failure cardioprotection clinical settings. The aim study To identify relationship between disorder carbohydrate lipid metabolism a decrease effectiveness infarct-limiting moderate chronic normobaric hypoxia; to check possibility correcting reduced by normalizing metabolism. Methods included 64 Wistar rats. was induced feeding high-carbohydrate, high-fat diet 84 days. Chronic hypoxia carried out 21 days following mode: 12 % O2 : 0.3 CO2. Metformin at dose 200 mg/kg/day or PPARα agonist WY14643 1 were added drinking water rats during period hypoxia. A 45-minute coronary occlusion 120-minute reperfusion performed, infarct size determined. Indicators metabolism, leptin, adiponectin studied blood serum. Results Infarct showed direct correlation decreased glucose tolerance serum triglyceride levels. Using metformin therapy did not lead restoration hypoxia, while normalization use corrected impairment adaptive Conclusion lack associated impaired restores cardioprotection.
