ABSTRACT
Background. Body dissatisfaction is widely spread among the population. It negatively affects human health, contributing to development of eating disorders, anxiety and depressive formation unhealthy patterns lifestyle. Determining factors associated with body in adolescents may be important for prevention above mentioned disorders. The aim work. To describe prevalence, characteristics urban school students. Materials methods. Tenth-grade students (n = 440) underwent anthropometry also filled out questionnaires including socio-demographic lifestyle factors. Collins scales were used assess dissatisfaction, Russian version Paediatric Quality Life Inventory (PedsQL 4.0; Lyon, France) was health-related quality life.
