ABSTRACT
Radiopharmaceutical dosimetry is usually estimated via organ-level MIRD schema-style formalisms, which form the computational basis for commonly used clinical and research software. Recently, MIRDcalc internal software was developed to provide a freely available solution that incorporates up-to-date models of human anatomy, addresses uncertainty in radiopharmaceutical biokinetics patient organ masses, offers 1-screen user interface as well quality assurance tools. The present work describes validation and, secondarily, provides compendium dose coefficients obtained with MIRDcalc. Biokinetic data about 70 currently historically radiopharmaceuticals were from International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) publication 128 compendium. Absorbed effective derived biokinetic datasets using MIRDcalc, IDAC-Dose, OLINDA systematically compared against other software-derived those originally presented ICRP 128. Dose computed IDAC-Dose showed excellent overall agreement. promulgated both reasonable agreement Future should expand scope include personalized calculations.
