The Response of Chinese Private Education Organizations to the “Double Reduction” Policy: Evidence from New Oriental and TAL

Since the Chinese state government enacted "double reduction" policy, a policy to alleviate burden of afterschool tutoring for students, there have been many private educational organizations encountering challenges.This has caused radical change status and role education in sector, which leads major crisis faced by them.In this context, how cope with such becomes critical problem.On basis, an analysis will be carried out paper measures taken two listed enterprises, New Oriental Education & Technology Group (New Oriental) Tomorrow Advancing Life (TAL).Besides, logic behind effectiveness these examined provide other enterprises guidance on practice management.The most interesting finding is that both TAL strong dynamic capability, helps them respond effectively crisis.The results study shed light management modern enterprises.
