ABSTRACT
We describe the external morphology, internal oral anatomy, and chondrocranium of Pseudopaludicola canga. The tadpole is diagnosed by following combined characters: elliptic body, reniform nostril, dorsal fin starting at body-tail junction labial tooth row formula 2(2)/2(1) presenting two lateral gaps in marginal papillae lower lip. Regarding cavity, there a pattern similarity some characters among three species genus for which structure has been described; however, P. canga can be characterized having pair infralabial papillae, irregular median ridge, lingual fewer buccal roof arena, greater number floor. differs from that boliviana distal connection between pars alaris corporis cartilago suprarostralis; falcipes lacking processus pseudopterygoideus. Further, our data emphasize utility larval as additional tools diagnosis within this genus.
