Parasitism of Loranthaceae on crops: case of plantations in rural area on the periphery of Jean Lorougnon Guédé University of Daloa, Central-West Côte d'Ivoire

ABSTRACT
In Côte d'Ivoire, tree crops are an important source of agricultural income. Unfortunately, the disquieting expansion Loranthaceae is observed on many annuity like cocoa trees, coffee trees and rubber trees. This situation can harm economy generated by activity out coming from these speculations. The aim this study therefore, to know diversity determine extent their infestation crops, in rural area periphery University Jean Lorougnon Guédé. inventories were carried surface roving survey methods coupled with direct observations individuals total, 3 species Loranthaceae: Globimetula danglagei, Phragmanthera capitata var. Tapinanthus bangwensis (T. bangwensis) inventoried plantations. T. most abundant parasite crops. Forty-one host divided into 34 genera 21 families have been identified within Fabaceae (19.51%) Malvaceae (9.75%) infested families. On parasitism respectively indicated following pairs values (incidence severity index): (42.86±7.02% 33.99±7.10%), (25.93±11.65% 21.92±3.11%) (6.38±0.97% 6.72±1.55%). results a significant difference between incidences infestation, crop index as function Diameter Breast Height (DBH). incidence all around 24.93±17.20% 20.88±12.47%.
