Systematic literature review on collaborative learning research in mathematics education in Korea

ABSTRACT
This study aims to conduct a systematic literature review on collaborative learning research in elementary and secondary mathematics education Korea, explore various characteristics related the research, discuss areas for improvement. To achieve this, this presents protocol analyzing with focus collaboration cooperation, following methodology. Then analyze selected studies based themes derived from protocol. As result of review, were categorized into eight main themes: keywords, small group composition methods, sampling sample size, analysis analytical frameworks, domains educational goal, mathematical competencies learning. The findings revealed several key points: First, many conducted at school grades methodologies, help understand classroom environments that implement Second, it was found researcher's subjective largely reflected selection extraction method size. Third, as cognitive domain mainly changes results through pre- post-academic achievement, relation subject competency, there have been problem solving.
