ABSTRACT
Two phthirapteran species, Menacanthus eurysternus (Amblycera) and Brueelia sp. (Ischnocera) were recovered from 100 Red Whiskered Bulbuls (Pycnonotus jocosus) during March to December 2006. The occurrence of both the species on aforesaid host are new records. prevalence, intensity infestation, range variance mean ratio, sex adult nymph index discrepancy (D) exponent negative binomial (k) computed. frequency distribution pattern M. conforms model. was skewed but not described by binomial.
