This performed in a tertiary centre hospital by retrospectively analysing medical records patients who were followed up underwent delivery same hospital. divided into two groups according locations (central lateral) their routine sonographic findings 18 24 weeks' gestation. Out 1,057 patients, 87.4% (n = 919) had centrally located placentas 12.6% 133) laterally placentas. Preeclampsia found be significantly higher lateral location group (4.5% vs. 1.6%; p 0.027). There significant correlation with foetal growth restriction (FGR), preterm birth rates, low Apgar scores need for neonatal intensive care unit (p < 0.05). pregnant women should promptly special risk preeclampsia FGR, poor
