ABSTRACT
Backgroud: Dandy-Walker malformation is a rare congenital condition characterized by alteration of posterior fossa anatomy. Hydrocephalus common finding in these patients. VP-shunt placement remains the treatment choice. Endoscopic Third Ventriculostomy (ETV) an acceptable alternative for older children. Other techniques have also been proposed. Case presentation: A full-term infant presented with signs hydrocephalus. An endoscopic foraminoplasty cyst was conducted as first stage. The cyst’s volume reduced, without any changes supratentorial ventricular dimensions. month post-surgery hydrocephalus reoccurred. ETV performed alongside fenestration tentorium. toddler discharged good amelioration her symptoms. One later she recurrent and subdural hygromas. shunt placed under guidance, additional one introduced space. patient followed-up 18 months further need treatment. Discussion: Lushka Magendie seems to be ineffective. should reserved ventriculoscope can employed positioning specific anatomical region. Subdural hygromas may present after neuroendoscopic staged approach mandatory complex
