ABSTRACT
With the aim of identifying suitable open pollinated determinate tomato genotypes, investigation was carried out at Directorate Agricultural Research (DoAR), Parwanipur in two consecutive winter seasons 2020/21 and 2021/22. Experiment laid randomized complete block design (RCBD) with 16 treatments replicated thrice. Crop geometry maintained 75×60 cm fertilizers manure applied rate 200:150:120 kg N: P2O5:K2O + 20 tons FYM per hectare. Analysis results showed significant variation yield attributing characters among genotypes. The maximum plant height (75.67 cm) recorded on genotypes AVTO 0301.The 1716 0301 significantly earlier to 50% flowering (45 days) while 1711 shortest days first harvest (81 days). highest vigour (5 scales) by 1712, 0302 Pusa Ruby check variety. fruit diameter (7.52 cm), length (6.54 weight (49.9 g) genotype 1711. number fruits/ (56.7) marketable (58.08 t ha-1) 1610 respectively. 1712 firmness (1.92 cm-2) Vitamin C (59.36 mg/ 100 g). pericarp thickness fruits (7.43 mm) obtained 1610. total soluble solid (5.6 Obrix) Titratable acid 0.75 %. Similarly, colorimetric value a* (12.62) b* (19.37) found 1713 L* (30.56) observed 171. Considering overall performance, 1711, 1702 were performed better terms other horticultural traits.
