ABSTRACT
Malaria is one of the most common parasitic diseases causing a significant burden on health care, especially in India. Light microscopy, gold standard for malaria diagnosis time-consuming setup where caseload high and parasite index low. Knowledge abnormal scattergrams by malarial very essential to suspect screen those cases thoroughly peripheral smear accurate diagnosis. A timely crucial prognosis this disease. Herein, we report case 40-year-old male from Punjab who presented emergency with fever an altered sensorium. Analyzer showed characteristic pseudo eosinophilia greying neutrophil eosinophil zone double cluster. According flagging rules because eosinophilia, blood film (PBF) was made examined, which revealed Plasmodium falciparum gametocytes.
