ABSTRACT
The aims of this study were to investigate the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects extracts from fruits Ziziphus jujuba Mill. cv. jinsixiaozao Hort (ZJMH) its active chemical constituents. For activity, reducing power, DPPH β-carotene bleaching inhibition assay used. Ethyl acetate extract exhibited strongest potential in all models. petroleum ether showed (32.86%) against carrageenan-induced paw edema, which also displayed potent activity xylene-induced ear edema (41.52%). contents phenolic acids, flavonoids, triterpenes, anthocyanins, triterpenoid saponins different observed. Moreover, seven compounds first isolated considerable especially alphitolic acid stigmasterol. results that ZJMH can be a natural agent.
