ABSTRACT
Ticks Rhipicephalus sanguineus of strain Ixodidae family are biological mediators to transfer Rickettsia pathogens such as Ehrlichia and Anaplasma in animals.In the present study, a total 220 ticks were collected from 55 infested dogs.The ticks' taxonomy was carried out through microscopically.Additionally, DNA extraction conducted nested PCR performed differentiate Ehrlischia spp.The obtained results indicates that belong ticks.The showed spp. E. canis more common (50 ticks) than ewingii (3 ticks).In conclusion, firstly detected R. tick dogs Province Van Turkey.E. Turkey.Its presence potential factor for public health hazard Turkey
