ABSTRACT
Memorization comprises three stages: encoding, storage, and retrieval. Using neuropsychological tests, we investigated the stage at which encoding storage are retained in Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients with progressive memory disorder. The target were an amnestic mild cognitive impairment (MCI) group (21 cases) FAST 4 (37 cases), 5 (10 6 (4 AD groups. The tests performed Rivermead behavioral test Wechsler scale-revised. These carried out MCI as well each group. We delayed recall (free cued recall) based on raw score of sub-items recognition. The had 48% (median 0 point) correct respondents (providing ≥1 answer) for free recall, whereas groups ≤14% respondents. In verbal paired associates II evaluated 90% respondents, 4, 5, rates 51%, 60%, 50%, respectively. For pictures photos recognition tasks, there no significant differences percentage between (100%) (70%-90%).Given that retrieval is impossible if impaired, inferred abilities even moderately advanced AD.
