The aim of this study was to evaluate the use ultrasound as a method gestational diagnosis in female dogs, and its monitoring fetal development viability, determining age probable date delivery dogs. canine gestation time is relatively short, resulting main organs their final period, birth immature fetuses. Determining allows be estimated, so that breeders veterinarians can help reduce peripartum loss. Ultrasound measurement extra-fetal structures common accurate for predicting during pregnancy, which they will chosen depending on period female. inner chorionic cavity diameter (ICC) considered most indicator between 20th 37th days, whereas biparietal (BPD) reliable parameter third 38th 60th days.
