ABSTRACT
Background: According to the International Agency for Research on Cancer, ongoing demographic changes will lead an increase in number of deaths from breast cancer (BC) per year vast majority regions. In 2040 it is expected that 1.04 million people worldwide die this malignancy, including 2,380 women Kazakhstan. Methods: The retrospective study (2009-2018) was done using descriptive and analytical methods oncoepidemiology. extensive, crude age-specific incidence rates are determined according generally accepted methodology used sanitary statistics. data were calculate average percentage change (APС) Joinpoint regression analysis determine trend over period. Results: During 10 years 12,958 died BC. An age death 61.6 (95%CI=60.6-62.6) tended (APC=+0.6%, R2=0.6117). Age-specific had a bimodal with peak at 70-74 – 76.7±5.5 (APC=+3.4%, R2=0.2656) 80-84 78.0±9.1 (APC=+3.7%, R2=0.0875). age-standardized rate 13.9 100,000 female population, has decreased. When compiling thematic maps, mortality basis standardized indicators: low up 12.5, 12.5 15.2, high above 15.2 100,000. results spatial showed regions higher levels BC 100,000: Pavlodar (16.9), Almaty (19.2) Astana cities (19.3). Conclusions: Age-standardized strong downward (APC=−4.0%, R2=0.9218). decrease mostly due large coverage population by mammography screening improvement effectiveness treatment.
