ABSTRACT
Pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) is the common procedure in resectable periampullary malignancies. However, postoperative mortality rate for PD relatively high. Mortality scoring system helps surgeons to decide patients' eligibility surgery minimize risk. This study aimed compare four systems prediction after Indonesian population. In this cross-sectional study, data were retrospectively collected from medical records patients who underwent due malignancy between January 2010 and 2022. We assessed accuracy, cut-off, sensitivity, specificity, negative predictive value, positive area under curve (AUC) of Naples prognostic score (NPS), Whipple-ABACUS (WA), modified Pitt (MPS), score.Of 116 met criteria, was 12.1%. Mean age 51.64 ± 10.22 years consist 75.9% group <60 24.1% ≥60 years, with 46.6% male 53.4% female. The AUC highest lowest Score 0.890 (p<0.001), MPS 0.775 (p 0.001), WA 0.627 0.123), NPS 0.505 0.949) level accuracy each 67.2%, 50.0%, 59.5%.Pitt scores have all study. has advantage having fewer components, making it easy implement. can replace role predicting post-procedure Indonesia. Further studies that include intraoperative factors are needed increase accuracy.
