ABSTRACT
Although rice is a major agricultural product in northeast Thailand, its productivity low and unstable because cultivated under rainfed conditions there are issues with soil salinization. In this region, some of the paddy fields have been abandoned severe Therefore, effective management strategies needed to manage salinization for achieving stable production. To realize strategies, it necessary understand spatiotemporal distribution evaluate update using remote sensing data, we first relationship between electrical conductivity (ECe) moisture content (SMC) during dry seasons. Subsequently, effect changes on normalized difference salinity index (NDSI) derived from data estimating ECe evaluated. The NDSI, depending study area, clarified. findings indicate that consider not only but also quality at time satellite observation.
