ABSTRACT
The increasingly widespread use of lithium-ion batteries for various electronic devices to their as electrochemical energy storage containers demands higher battery performance. One way improve performance is the cathode material. material can be improved by modifying surface LiFePO4 coating carbon on its so that conductivity and distribution increase. sources used carbonation metalorganic frameworks (MOF). Metal-azolate (MAF) are a member MOF in form complex compounds source modification In this research, MAF–5 has been synthesized with Zn from Zn(NO3)2.6H2O center metal, 2-ethylimidazole (Eim) ligand rapidly at room temperature. resulting was characterized FTIR which shows lost N-H stretching vibration MAF–5, XRD characterization successful synthesis 2θ peaks 8.0574⁰, 13.2424⁰, 15.5544⁰, 18.2064⁰, 21.0794⁰, 26.3154⁰, SEM, BET analyzer show area = 565.542 m2g -1 pore volume 0.249 cm3g .
