ABSTRACT
This study examines the psychological challenges encountered by students in their academic pursuits and interpersonal interactions at Hanoi Law University. The study used a sample of 650 students from four different majors and all academic years. It employs two subscales, consisting of 8 items to measure obstacles in learning and 4 items to measure social relationships. The measurement is done using a 5-level Likert scale. The study will be conducted from August 2022 to September 2023 and will comprise the collecting, cleaning, and analysis of data using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results indicate prevalent issues such as lack of motivation (M=3.21, SD=0.89), attention deficits (M=3.23, SD=0.86), inadequate study skills (M=3.28, SD= 0.94), and time management problems (M=3.12, SD=0.99), alongside interpersonal challenges like communication confidence (M=3.17, SD=0.98) and emotional regulation (M=2.66, SD=0.97). The results emphasize the necessity of using focused teaching tactics and support structures to tackle these complex obstacles, thereby assisting students in attaining their academic and personal objectives. The study highlights the significance of motivation and efficient study techniques, together with excellent interpersonal abilities, in improving students' academic achievement and overall welfare.
