ABSTRACT
The objective of this study is to conduct a pilot program for self-testing HIV during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. target population was partners newly diagnosed persons. premise offer such test that they could perform in conditions, at time, and with assistance persons themselves selected.The self-test kits were sent an outpatient clinic providing care people living HIV, where, after taking preliminary history, physician who treats patients handed them over use by partner patient. Only reported having relations their sexual included study. Information on whether accepted kit result obtained subsequent visit.Between June 2020 March 2021, total number out 48 intended 24 persons, 11 women, average age participants: 35, orientation: 20 heterosexual orientation, two homosexual failed provide information orientation. All tested negative. found are method screening simple apply easy accept.
