ABSTRACT
Underground pipeline networks constitute a major component of urban infrastructure, and thus, it is imperative to have an efficient mechanism manage them. This study introduces secondary development system efficiently model underground networks, using the building information modeling (BIM)-based software Revit. The comprises separate pipe point tubulation models. Using Revit application programming interface (API), spatial position attribute data points are extracted from database, corresponding database. Family class in API, cluster self-built library inserted into location added; same way, all instances created. extension localization accelerated speed. was then used real construction project. expansion database rapid made BIM technology three-dimensional visualization more convenient. Furthermore, has applications engineering management.
