ABSTRACT
<ns3:p>Background Breast cancer and its treatment can have long-term adverse effects on physical mental health. Evidence-based guidelines recommend that healthcare professionals (HCPs) advise women with breast to engage in activity improve health outcomes. However, support be active is not standard care. The PURE-EX (EXpanding into communities imProve sUpport foR womEn after cancer) programme aims address this knowledge-practice gap. Aim To co-develop a integrates referrals care for early-stage locally-advanced cancer. Programme components will include: 1. A referral pathway enabling HCPs refer community-based programmes they completed primary cancer; 2. An online training course community providers adapting their existing who undergone treatment. Work Packages We co-develop, refine, evaluate through four work packages (WPs): <ns3:bold>WP1.</ns3:bold> Conduct systematic scoping review describe the characteristics of reported literature. <ns3:bold>WP2.</ns3:bold> Undertake qualitative research with: (i) cancer, (ii) responsible care, exercise professionals, explore barriers facilitators incorporating from different perspectives. <ns3:bold>WP3.</ns3:bold> Hold co-development events develop refine gain insights as how it could operationalised practice. <ns3:bold>WP4.</ns3:bold> feasibility trial 45 finished assess acceptability programme.
