ABSTRACT
For magnetic levitation transport systems with pillared tracks, detailed simulation models of the coupled system vehicle and guideway offer a valuable contribution to find tradeoff between stiff/heavy elements, required keep disturbances small for controller, low material consumption. This work provides novel model rigid multibody Transrapid maglev three sections moving along an infinite periodically elastic mapping two-dimensional heave-pitch motion bending elements. The is realized by boundaries, i.e., same few Euler-Bernoulli beams representing current track segment are used repeatedly form sequence equations obtained from modeling toolbox Neweul-M 2 .A magnet in combination predictive control scheme first time large this contribution. All components combined Simulink model.Simulation results show more severe overshoots oscillations deflection below faster passes, which resulting bigger errors motions at rear end compared mid front. Therefore, contrast previous presumptions, most critical situations be expected magnet, not front end.
