ABSTRACT
Posterior cervical foraminotomy is an attractive therapeutic option in selected cases of radiculopathy that maintains range motion and minimize adjacent-segment degeneration. The focus this procedure to preserve as much the facet possible with decompression. inclinatory (PCIF) a new technique developed offer excellent results by decompression minimal resection. highlight our PCIF use drilling out for preserving more joint. operative indications are from foraminal stenosis (single or multilevel) persistent recurrent root symptoms. PCIFs were performed between April 2007 December 2009 on 26 male 8 female patients total 55 spinal levels. Complete partial improvement radiculopathic pain seen (76%), (24%), respectively, We believe allows joint capsule when decompressing due spondylosis. suggest can be effective alternative surgical approach management spondylotic radiculopathy.
