ABSTRACT
The 24-hr urine sodium excretion level was estimated based on the spot sodium, and efficacy of formula validated to determine status low salt intake <100 mEq Na/day. samples were collected from 400 patients. creatinine with use three formulas: a newly derived Korean equation (E24UCR_K), Tanaka (E24UCR_T) Cockcroft-Gault (E24UCR_CG) equations. correlation coefficients between measured for these equations 0.863, 0.846, 0.896, respectively (All P<0.001). After estimating levels, levels 0.466, 0.490, 0.516, sensitivity formulas estimate sodium≥100 mEq/day using amount≥100 84.3%, 87.6%, 84.8%, respectively. In conclusion, used content useful intake.
