ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between smartphone addiction middle school students and usage types, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), stress, interpersonal problems, parenting attitude. In particular, we wanted find out how types predict when controlling ADHD, perceived attitudes, which are main predictors existing in study.The subjects included 487 local (253 girls 234 boys). measurement instruments used were scale, patient health questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), Korean ADHD rating scales (K-ARS), stress scale (PSS), Short form Korean-inventory problems circumplex (KIIP-SC), attitude scale. We identified variables with correlation analysis examined hierarchical multiple regression analysis.The factors that influence sex (β = 3.14, P < 0.01), 2.99, 3.81, 0.001). addition, confounding controlled effects on addiction, social network service (SNS) 2.66, 0.01) music/videos 2.73, found significantly positively affect whereas -2.54, 0.05) had a negatively effect. And these explained 29.5% variance addiction.The order highest was: enjoying music/videos, SNS, study. This suggests selective intervention depending type can be effective.
