ABSTRACT
Objective: This study was conducted to determine the effect of finger puppet plays on postoperative pain relief in children. Methods: with 90 children who were aged between 1-5 years and underwent surgery 2016 Turkey. The randomly divided into three groups. control group (n=30) given routine treatment (analgesic treatment), intervention 1 played by nurse, 2 parents. Data collection instruments “Child Parent Assessment Form”, “Children’s Hospital Eastern Ontario Pain Scale” “PedsQL Health Care Satisfaction Scale”. After intervention, evaluated satisfaction parents Results: Mean score scale found higher than groups (p<0.001). lower Conclusion: highlights that can be used decrease nurses as an independent role.
