ABSTRACT
The United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a universal call to action end poverty, protect the environment, and improve lives prospects of everyone on this planet. However, progress SDGs is currently lagging behind its 2030 target. availability water adequate quality quantity considered as one most significant challenges in reaching that concept ‘Circular Economy’ has been termed potential solution fasten rate achieving SDGs. One promising engineering solutions with applications treatment promoting circular economy hydrochar. Compared biochar, hydrochar research still infancy terms optimization production processes, custom design for specific applications, knowledge potential. In context, paper critically reviews role contributing through incorporating waste-to-value approach. Additionally, key gaps utilization engineered identified, possible strategies suggested further enhance remediation context better natural resource management using Research converting different waste biomass valuable based products need development parameters fulfil Critical also exist area utilizing large-scale drinking address SDG-6.
