ABSTRACT
Background Streptococcus species are predominant members of the oral microbiota in both health and diseased conditions. The purpose present study was to explore if different ecological characteristics, such as oxygen availability presence periodontitis, associates with transcriptional activity genus Streptococcus. We tested hypothesis that genetically closely related express activities samples collected from environments critically conditions determined by site inflammatory status.
