ABSTRACT
Introduction Identification of key microbiome components has been suggested to help address the maintenance oral and intestinal health in humans. The core is similar all individuals, whereas diverse varies across based on their unique lifestyles phenotypic genotypic determinants. In this study, we aimed predict metabolism microorganisms gut environment enterotyping orotyping. Materials methods Gut samples were collected from 83 Korean women aged 50 years or older. extracted DNA was subjected next-generation sequencing analysis 16S rRNA hypervariable regions V3–V4. Results bacteria clustered into three enterotypes, while orotypes. Sixty-three between population correlated, different metabolic pathways predicted for each type. Eubacterium _g11, Actinomyces , Atopobium Enterococcus significantly positively correlated abundance. four classified as type 3 orotype 2 enterotype. Conclusion Overall, study that collapsing human body’s multidimensional a few categories may characterize microbiomes better issues more deeply.
