ABSTRACT
Thoracic aortic aneurysm (TAA) is a life-threatening cardiovascular disease whose formation reported to be associated with massive vascular inflammatory responses. To elucidate the roles of immune cell infiltration in pathogenesis underlying TAA, we utilized multiple TAA datasets (microarray data and scRNA-seq data) various immune-related algorithms (ssGSEA, CIBERSORT, Seurat) reveal landscapes microenvironment TAA. The results exhibited significant increase macrophages T cells, which were mainly responsible for among cells. further immunocytes inferred intercellular communications identified cells tissues. Notably, found that both normal tissue tissue, interact most frequently are macrophages, endothelial (ECs), fibroblasts, smooth muscle (VSMCs). Among prominent signal senders receivers tissue. These findings suggest play an important role physiological pathological conditions aorta. present study provides comprehensive evaluation composition reveals communication human improve our understanding progression facilitate development effective medications treat these conditions.
