Case report: occupational acute poisoning caused by the accidental release of lambda-cyhalothrin

ABSTRACT
Lambda-cyhalothrin is a new-generation pyrethroid II insecticide that neurotoxic. Most domestic and international reported cases are of oral poisoning, whereas few inhalation skin absorption poisoning have been reported. Here, we report the case 46-year-old man who was poisoned via dermal due to rupture leakage lambda-cyhalothrin pipeline. The patient developed burning sensation, eyeball pain, upper-limb tremor after exposure. After admission, cough, sputum expectoration, chest tightness, other symptoms. Lung computerized tomography indicated double pneumonia patient's electroencephalogram result abnormal; condition improved treatment.
