ABSTRACT
Background The health and safety of workers who work in areas severely damaged by natural weather events (reconstruction workers) is becoming an increasingly important problem as these disasters increase intensity frequency. An evidence-based, innovative e-learning tool, Pocket Ark, has been developed to meet this need. Methods Intervention Mapping, iterative public programming methodology, was used create strategies designed support the development implementation Ark application for reconstruction before, after, during disasters. Discussion evidence-based application, uses concept Mapping planning framework. It can be effective bridge pre-deployment education, deployment health, immediate post-disaster environment.
