ABSTRACT
The use of fire simulation tools has become a regular feature support systems for fuel management decisions at landscape level. Considering the spatial nature in evaluation risk and definition mitigation goals is an ongoing research topic forest planning. By combining tool, growth yield simulator optimization module, it possible to minimize negative impact over time maximize various ecosystem services. Specific requirements adapted tactical planning include level accuracy, possibility exploring diverse scenarios, computational capability simulate multiple fires flexibility generate different outputs or metrics depending on specific problem under study. present article addresses simulators their inclusion Cell2Fire with models more commonly employed Europe United States, generation spread crown fires. Already able solve static problems its original version, this new adaptation, known as Cell2Fire_SB, been developed ambitious goal being integrated into decision system that simultaneously considers behavior dynamics allocation actions order temporal dynamic problems.
