ABSTRACT
Background: By recruiting the MCM8-MCM9 helicase to DNA damage site, Homologous Recombination Factor With OB-Fold (HROB) is involved in repair of inter-strand crosslink and homologous recombination. Previous studies have shown that HROB may play an oncogenic role by promoting cell proliferation chemoresistance several tumor types. However, potential diagnostic prognostic values not been systemically explored pan-cancer. Methods: We analyzed expression pattern among tissues normal public databases, including Human Protein Atlas Cancer Genome (TCGA) investigated association between pathological stage patient prognosis. also cancer stemness immune infiltration cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) CD8+ T cells Finally, we biological function through pathway enrichment analysis. Results: In most types, overexpressed compared with non-tumor tissues. High was correlated poor prognosis advanced stages. robustly stemness. Moreover, significant correlations CAFs, T-cell infiltration, were observed Pathway analysis revealed cycle mitotic-regulated pathways strongly enriched co-expressed genes. Conclusion: be a biomarker pan-cancer, which tumorigenesis disease progression affecting infiltration.
